Organization Overview
The Law Society is the professional body that supports, represents and advocates on behalf of solicitors in England and Wales. The organisation also provides solicitors with resources, training and advice on both legal and ethical issues.
The Law Society is not a regulatory body and is independent from the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), an independent regulatory body that regulates solicitors within the England and Wales jurisdictions.
